He is survived by his wife whom he married March 7, 1970: Juanita (Combs) Feltner Chastain. Children: Keith & wife Krista Chastain of Anderson, Rick & wife Brenda Chastain of Columbus, Johnny & wife Carol Chastain of Medora and Jenny & husband Frank Chastain of Brownstown. Siblings: Betty Irwin of Huron, Chet & wife Shirley of Orleans and Bob & wife Pat Chastain of Phoenix, Arizona. Grandchildren: Josh Hostetler, James Chastain, Rebekah Chastain, Elizabeth Chastain, Cody Slagle, Kathleen Wright and Keri Steinkamp. Several Nieces & Nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents: Ralph & Effie (Morris) Chastain.
Services will be Friday, December 29, 2006 at 2:30 PM, at Robert D. Loose Funeral Homes & Crematory, South Chapel; 200 W. 53rd Street; Anderson, with Chaplain Rob Mifflin officiating.
Burial will be in Crown Hill Cemetery in Salem on Saturday, December 30, 2006 at 12:00 pm.
