CENTER — Ida V. Meadows, 88, of Center, died Tuesday, Nov. 9, 2010, at T.J. Samson Community Hospital in Glasgow.

She was the daughter of the late Dan and Nannie Kidd Trowbridge. She was a homemaker and member of Shady Grove Baptist Church.

Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Friday at Shady Grove Baptist Church with burial in Houk Cemetery. Visitation will be from 1 until 8 p.m. Thursday at Butler Funeral Home in Edmonton and after 10 a.m. Friday at the church.

She is survived by one son: Danny (Patsy) Crain of Center; one daughter: Patricia (Kaye) Stovall of Center; one sister: Grace Byrd of Glasgow; six grandchildren: Anita Carver of Tompkinsville, Timmy Stovall of Center, Kerry Stovall of Glasgow, Lisa Crain of Center, Tony Crain of Cave City and Kevin Crane of Center. Ten great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews also survive.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husbands, Glen Crain and Jim Mud Meadows; and 12 brothers and sisters.
