Henry Glen Pewitt

MCKENZIE: Services for Henry Glen Pewitt, 74, will be held at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, August 21 at Brummitt Funeral Home in McKenzie with Bros. Bobby Hollingsworth, Jerry Hollingsworth and Sammy Douglas officiating. Burial will be at Camp Beauregard Cemetery in Water Valley, Kentucky.
Mr. Pewitt, retired from Teco Barge Line, where he served as first mate, died on Sunday, August 18 at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital.
Mr. Pewitt was born November 30, 1927 in Water Valley, Kentucky to the late Vivian Barnes Pewitt and Robert Lee Pewitt. He was a member of the West Side Baptist Church in Camden and a U.S. Army veteran of World War II.
A brother, William Pewitt preceded him in death.
Survivors include his wife, Helen Baker Pewitt of McKenzie; two sons, Jackie Lynn Pewitt of McKenzie and Dennis Glenn Pewitt of Cottage Grove, five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
