Guilford C. Patty, 82, Dies at home South of Camden After Illness
Funeral services were held on Sunday afternoon at two o'clock at home for Guilford C. Patty, age 82, who died Thursday noon at his home south of Camden, Indiana, after an extended illness. The services were conducted by the Reverend George W. Schuette, pastor of the St. Peter's Lutheran Church with the Baker Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Burial was made in the Camden Cemetery.
Mr. Patty was born February 5, 1865 near Burlington, the son of Isaac and Jane White Patty. He was a prominent farmer in the Camden, Indiana community, having lived near Camden for the past forty years.
Those surviving are a son and a daughter, Claude C. at home; and Mrs. Pauline Russell of Peru; a brother, Walter near Burlington; five grandchildren. His wife and one son, Daryl, preceded him in death.
