Mrs. Margaret Berlien, 77, of this city, died in the Elmhurst hospital Saturday evening after a brief illness. She was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Wilsey, and was a lifelong resident of Steuben county. She is survived by her husband, John, and six daughters: Mrs. Grace Ireland, Lynn, Massachusetts; Mrs. Martha Rakestraw, Pleasant Lake; Mrs. Isabella Libey, Hudson; Mrs. Zora Rudolph, Fairfield, Connecticut; Mrs. Vada Seeman, Angola; and Mrs. Thelma Landis, Pleasant Lake; 23 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren and one brother, William Wilsey, Hudson.

Services for Mrs. Berlien were conducted from the Weicht Funeral Home at two o’clock this afternoon, with the Rev. Robert James, pastor of the Church of the Nazarene officiating, with the burial in the South Scott cemetery.

Mr. and Mrs. John Berlien of Angola have been visiting their daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Ford Libey. Mrs. Berlien became worse on Thursday so they took her to an Angola hospital. She passed away early Sunday morning.

Out-of-town relatives and friends who attended the funeral of Mrs. John Berlien included Mrs. Grace B. Ireland, Lynn, Mass.; Mrs. Zora Randolph, Fairfield, Conn.; Miss Susie Berlien, Toledo, Ohio; Thomas Taylor, Mr. and Mrs. Clyde Bowser, Gibsonburg, Ohio; Rev. and Mrs. Archie Lung, Waynesfield, Ohio; Mr. and Mrs. Harold Wood, Mr. and Mrs. Eugene Comment, Mrs. John Burkhalter and Mrs. Russell Hardy of Fort Wayne, and Mrs. Lottie Rummel of Coldwater, Mich.
