The community was saddened on the 17th inst., by the announcement of the death of Mrs. Florence Alexander of this place. The deceased was ill but for a short time, and while her death was not altogether unexpected her many excellencies of character made the grief of her relatives and friends, none the less poignant. She leaves a husband and one child and a large circle of relatives and friends to mourn her loss. The deceased was the daughter of Mr. Joseph Fugitt. The remains were interred in the Booneville Cemetery after a funeral service at the home conducted by the Rev. E.A. Smith. She was a member of the Methodist Church and a devout Christian lady in the best sense of the word. The entire community join us in tendering sympathy and condolence to the bereaved relatives and friends.
