Edith Nealie Cosby Comer, 44, died at 12:40 PM Sunday [May 30, 1965] in St. Elizabeth Hospital, where she had been a patient three-and-one-half years, following illness since January. Born at Tazewell, TN, she came to Lafayette in 1947. She married Loran M. Comer on Aug. 10, 1948, in Lafayette; he survives. For the past couple of years, Mrs. Comer had been employed in the Purdue University Union cafeteria. she attended First Baptist Church here.

Surviving with her husband are her father, Richard Cosby of Tazewell, TN; three sisters, Mrs. Dewey Dunsmore, Mrs. Glenn York, both of Tazewell, and Mrs. Robert Walker of Redlands, CA; and a brother, Aaron Cosby, also of Tazewell.
