After his Navy service and several years in Illinois, they moved to Madison, where he became the advertising manager of Oscar Mayer and Co.
Ginny loved living in Madison, and gave back to the community by volunteering with a number of organizations. At various times she served as president of the Visiting Nurse Association, co-chair of the Community Chest drive, and president of the Attic Angel Association.
After 25 years in Madison, retirement took Ginny & Bill out of the snow to Sun City, AZ. Bill died in 1990. She moved in 1994 to the Forum at Rancho San Antonio in Cupertino, CA. She was living in the Skilled Nursing Facility at the Forum at the time of her death.
She is survived by a daughter and her husband, two sons, a daughter-in-law, and three grandchildren.
