She married Charley Monroe Barton Sept. 4, 1915. They had 10 children.
She was a lifetime resident of the Hartshorn community and a member of the Valley Center Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband; three sons, Henry Cecil, Ralph and Elmer; one daughter, Marie Goetz; one sister, Rena; and two grandchildren.
Surviving are her children, Ola Mae Harmon, Thelma McKee, Mildred Cook and June Stark of Summersville, Virgil Barton of Hartshorn and James Barton of St. Charles; a half brother, Vernon Crabtree of Alton; a half sister, Norwild Livingston of Alton; 38 grandchildren, 76 great-grandchildren and 13 step-great-grandchildren.
Services were March 15 at the Bradford Funeral Home Chapel in Summersville with the Rev. Leland Stoops officiating. Burial was in the Antioch Cemetery.
