14y 8m 7dClarence Arthur Hartman, 14, son of Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Hartman, 1230 Leebrick street, died at the St. Francis hospital at 7:30 p.m. yesterday. Death was due to enlargement of the heart and although he had been sick for about a month he became seriously ill only about a week ago.
He was born April 13, 1915 at Kansas City, Mo., and came to Burlington with his parents five years ago. He attended the Corse school where he was in the eighth grade. He was a member of the First Christian church and boy scout troop number 3.
Surviving are his parents, two brothers, Charles, 10 and Norman, 2 and other relatives. The body was taken to Unterkircher's funeral home, pending funeral arrangements.
