Funeral services were held Wednesday at 11 a.m. for Wallace McCarrel, 77, of Roosevelt who died Monday in the Uintah County Hospital of natural causes.
MR. McCARREL was born August 18, 1893 in Vernal to Joseph P. and Elizabeth Suler McCarrel. He married Lela Hatch Wall. They were later divorced. He married Blanche Hanes. She died.
He was a stockman and member of the LDS Church.
SURVIVORS include seven grandchildren: brother and sisters, Bill, Dinosaur; Kate Vealer, Burns Oregon; Emma Holmes and Jessie Tiffany, both of Vernal.
Burial was in the Vernal Memorial Park
