Born May 15, 1938 in Duffield, Virginia, she was the daughter of Zeb and Mary McCann Spears.
She married Glen C. Beck on September 2, 1955 and he survives.
Unave was a homemaker and a member of the Kessler-Krest Baptist Church, Indianapolis.
Survivors include her husband, Glen; children, Charles Beck (Jackie Mimms) of Clayton, Randy Beck (Beth) of Spencer, Reba Gipson of Cartersburg, Linda Scott (Gregg) of Avon; brothers, Junior Spears (Debbie), Ozzie Spears; sisters, Eula Mercer (Jim), Rose Ruddell (Bud), Sue Dawes (Carl); grandchildren, Terry, Jason, Ryan, John, Mary, Jason, Jennifer, Chris, Ashley, Whitney, Ryan and 12 great grandchildren.
Services will be at 1:00 pm on Saturday, November 17, 2012 in Hall-Baker Funeral Home, Plainfield, with burial to follow in Clayton Cemetery.
Calling will be from 4:00-8:00 pm on Friday, November 16, 2012 in the funeral home.
