RAYSER, Lorraine C.

On November 26, 2007, Lorraine C. (nee Allen), age 85, passed away. Beloved wife of Harold. Predeceased by father, Curtis, mother, Mary and dear sister, Mickey. Loving and dedicated mother of five sons, Tom (Judy), Bill (Lee), Jim (Donna), Bob (Rhonda) and John (Dawne); 11 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.

Lorraine graduated from Woodrow Wilson High School and retired from Bell Telephone to raise her family. She returned to employment to work for Campbell Soup Company where she had many friends. She was a founding member of St. Francis de Sales Parish in Barrington.

Lorraine provided a stable background and steady influence throughout the years to her family. She was a courageous lady with a wonderful sense of humor and a strong sense of family. She did everything from sewing a Halloween costume for a grandchild to arranging flowers with a sense of style and grace.

Many thanks go out to all who helped care for her during her short stay at St. Mary's.

Relatives and friends are invited to her viewing Monday morning after 9:30 AM at St. Francis de Sales RC Church, 199 Willmont Avenue (at Glouceser Pike), Barrington, NJ 08007 where her Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 AM. Interment Harleigh Cemetery, Camden. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her name to the Church at the address above.
