Gerd William Kleffman, 84, lifelong Straight community resident, passed away Friday morning, June 13, 2003 at Dunaway Manor Nursing Home in Guymon.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m.Monday, June 16, at Trinity Ev. Lutheran Church with Pastor Mark Wescoatt officiating . Interment will follow in Trinity Lutheran Cemetery under the direction of Henson - Novak Funeral Directors of Guymon.

The son of Sophia (Eckhoff) and Henry Kleffman, he was born January 3, 1919 on the Kleffman farm, Texas County, Okla. He attended Friendship and Lutheran Parochial schools.
Mr Kleffman served in the Army Air Cops during World War II.
He returned home after the war and was united in marriage to Ester Ralstin June 27, 1945, in Guymon. The Kleffmans farmed in the Straight community and Mr Kleffman drove a school bus for many years. He was on the Board of Directors of Tri-County Electric Coop.
Survivors include his wife of 58 years, Ester Kleffman of the home; three daughters, Linda and husband, Ronald Myers of Fayetteville, North Carolina; Patsy and husband, Steven Lucus of Burlington Kan; and Rebecca and husband Nelson Dusenbury of Guymon; grandchildren, Joshua Lucas, Aaron Lucas and wife, Krystle, and Malisa Myers; great grandchildren, Hala Robison, Axl and Mekenzy Lucas; nieces, Edna Leonetti, Hazel Watson and Twila Dickerson; nephews, Fred Kleffman, Gene Kleffman and Raymond Lewis.
He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers, John, Henry, Carl Kleffman and a sister, Eleanora Lewis.
