Francis Edward Pevey, 80, died Aug. 12 at Candler Hospital.
He was a native of Effingham County and a longtime resident of Chatham County. He retired from Air Therm as a sheetmetal worker. He was a member of Wildwood United Methodist Church and a Marine Corps veteran of World War II.
SURVIVORS: his wife, Eunice C. Pevey of Savannah; a daughter and son-in-law, Ann and Don Chance of Pooler; a son and daughter-in-law, Benjamin E. Pevey Sr. and Dale Pevey of Savannah; two sisters, Thelma Blackburn of Savannah and Laurene Corlette of Columbia; four grandchildren, a great-granddaughter and several nieces and nephews.
VISITATION: 6-9 p.m. today at Massey Chapel Funeral Home in Garden City.
FUNERAL: 11 a.m. Thursday at Massey Chapel Funeral Home, burial in Hillcrest Abbey Memorial Park.
