George M. Mallery, 72, died at 4:25 o'clock yesterday afternoon at his residence, 802 West Burkhart street. He had been in failing health for two years and seriously ill the last two days.
Mr. Mallory is survived by his wife; one son, Nelson Mallery of Moberly; one daughter, Mrs. George Freels of Moberly; one sister, Mrs. Julia Roberts of Pueblo, Colorado; one granddaughter and two grandsons.
He was born in Pike County, Ill., and came with his family at the age of 13, to a farm west of Moberly, where he lived until nine years ago then he came to Moberly. He was a member of the S.B.A.
the body will remain at the residence where he died and funeral services will be held there at 2:30 o'clock Sunday afternoon by the Rev. J.P Ingerslew, pastor of the First Methodist Church. Burial in Oakland Cemetery.
