Patricia C. Gage, 76, a former Bergen resident, died at Arizona Heart Hospital in Phoenix April 30, 2007, following a courageous battle with cancer.

She was born January 22, 1931, in Brooklyn, a daughter of the late Cecil and Edna Booth. She married Myron Gage in 1951. Following his discharge from the U.S. Air Force she and her husband moved to his hometown of Bergen. In Bergen and Byron, she worked as a full-time mom and homemaker until the family relocated to Windsor, Colo., in 1970 to help establish a new Kodak plant. Mrs. Gage was active in her children's school and sports activities, and in her community. She especially enjoyed her work at the Windsor Library. She was characterized by her love of reading and games of all kinds, as well as her creativity and sense of humor. After retiring, Mr. and Mrs. Gage traveled the country in their recreational vehicle, finally settling down in Florence, Ariz. There she made many more wonderful friends and developed her artistic gifts and bingo acumen. She will be greatly missed by her family and all who knew her.

Survivors include her husband, Myron; two daughters, Deborah (David) Jump of Visalia, Calif., and Denise (Jeff) Theobald of Delta, Colo.; a son, Brian (Sandi) Gage of Windsor, Colo.; nine grandchildren, Sarah (Jump) Haahr, Melinda and Anna Jump; Davin, Brandin, and Logan Gage and Darla (Gage) Charles; Tyler Pearce and Kim Theobald; two great-grandchildren; and a brother, George Booth of Virginia.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers and two sisters.

A memorial service took place May 4 at Simes Chapel in Coolidge, Arizona, with David Jump officiating. Memorial donations in her honor may be made to the American Lung Association, 61 Broadway, New York, New York 10006.
