Thomas and Liva Spencer were the parents of at least nine children - Vinton Spencer, Gansel Spencer, Henry Luster Spencer, Olivia Elizabeth Spencer, Mary Spencer, John Wesley Spencer, James Milton Spencer, Thomas Shannon Spencer, and Jacob F. Spencer.
