MILLARD NICODEMUS, of Sharpsburg District, died at his home about a mile north of that town at 1 o'clock Tuesday from heart failure. Mr. Nicodemus had been complaining for about a week, but had improved considerable. Yesterday he was able to be up and about and seemed to be in fine spirits. In fact he took a walk about his place shortly before noon. He was taken suddenly ill and died within a short time.
He was 41 years of age. He resided on a small farm and in connection with this work he was a stock dealer. He was popular with all who knew him.
Mr. Nicodemus is survived by his wife and two daughters, Alice and Lillian, both at home; and one sister, Mrs. Hicks Remsburg.
Funeral Thursday afternoon at 3 o'clock; services at the house by Rev. A.A. Kerlin. Interment in Mountain View Cemetery at Sharpsburg.
