Roberta Wilburn was born 9 Feb 1879 at Pipestem, WV, a daughter of Gordon L. and Julia Houchins Wilburn. Roberta married Robert H. Farley on 22 Feb 1900 in Summers County, WV. From 1941 to 1942 she was a matron in the girls reformatory in Salem and in 1943 was employed in the supervisor department at the Old Age Home at Sweet Springs, and in 1945 she held the position as head housekeeper at the Home. She was a lifetime member of the Woman's Society of Christian Services. Mrs. Farley was also an active member of the Golden Age Club. Her husband Robert H. Farley preceded her in death. Roberta passed away peacefully at the age of 84 in an Oak Hill nursing home after a long illness.
