Charles "Chuck" Perkins passed away on November 12, 2012 at his home in Mabelvale. Chuck was born to parents, Walter and Alice Adair Perkins on September 11, 1933 in Stamping Ground, Kentucky.

Chuck leaves behind his wife of 28 years, Shirley Perkins of Mabelvale, AR, 4 children; Charlie Perkins of Nicholsville, Kentucky, Paula Malone of St. Louis MO, Tom Perkins and wife, Sonja of Springfield, MO, Brenda Donehoe of Lexington, Ky,9 grandchildren,a sister Mary Eunice Perkins Bishop of Greensburg, Kyand a brother Walter Thomas Perkins of Chicago, Ill. 7 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews as well as a host of other friends and family members. He is preceded in death by his parents and 1 sister; Jeannette Miller. , Lexington,

Chuck was considered crazy by those who loved him because of his keen sense of humor and ready wit. He was always acting silly and pulling pranks on his friends and family. One of his close friends said that when Chuck got to heaven, heaven got a whole lot funnier. He enjoyed gardening and had a competitive streak that showed up as he raced to have the first red tomato of the season. Chuck was retired from New Terry Auto Care which he owned and operated for many years. He loved helping people, his family was dear to him and he loved spending time with them.

He was loved by all who knew him and will be greatly missed.
