Oscar Bagwell
GAFFNEY--Oscar James (sic) Bagwell, 57, of 1301 Cherokee Ave., was dead on arrival at Cherokee County Memorial Hospital at 9 p.m. Monday.
Son of the late Boyce and Hattit (sic) Francis Bagwell; a textile employee; member of Glendale Baptist Church; lived most of his life in Glendale.
Surviving: sisters, Mrs. Sunnie Brown of Lyman, Mrs. Mildred Mullinax of St. Stephens, Mrs. Katheryn Knox of Spartanburg Route 1, Mrs. Norma Mowles of Greenville Route 4; brothers, Troy of Roebuck, Ralph of Spartanburg Route 1, Paul Bagwell of Charlotte.
Services 4 today at M.W. Bobo Funeral Chapel by the Revs. Timothy Hottel and Charles L. Wycuff; burial in Thompson Chapel Baptist Church cemetery.
Pallbearers: Donald Brown, Michael and Billy Bagwell, Eddie and Steve Mullinax and Sherman Owens.
