Alfred W. Bentley, one of the oldest residents of New Albany, died early yesterday morning at his home, East Tenth and Spring streets, from the infirmities of age. Mr. Bentley was born in Pennsylvania in August 1808, and came to this city fifty-two years ago. The funeral takes place tomorrow morning at 9:00 from the family residence, and the burial will be in Cave Hill Cemetery, Louisville.
