Mrs. Lang, the former Miss Alice Higginbotham, was the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Rufus Wilson Higginbotham, pioneer hardware merchant in the Southwest. She was born in Dublin, Erath County. She attended Baylor University in Waco and Gunston Hall in Washington, D.C.
Survivors are a daughter, Mrs. J. Irion Worsham of Dallas; four sisters, Mrs. E. R. Nash of Waco,Mrs. O.S. Boggess and Mrs. R.H. Steward Jr. of Dallas and Mrs. George Nall of Austin; three brothers, R. Wilson Higginbotham, John T. Higginbotham and Joseph L. Higginbotham of Dallas, three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
