GAINESBORO — Funeral services for James "David Anderson, 70, of Gainesboro, were held at 2 p.m. today, Monday, Nov. 12, at Anderson-Upper Cumberland Funeral Home. Interment was in Pharris Cemetery, with full military honors.
Mr. Anderson passed away on Friday, Nov. 9, 2012, in Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville.
He was born Feb. 3, 1942, in Detroit, Mich., to the late Fred and Viola Bowman Anderson.
Mr. Anderson was an airplane mechanic. He served in the Navy and attended Zion Church of Christ.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Bedford and Lola Anderson, and his maternal grandparents, Dillard and Dovie Bowman. Survivors include his Wife: Spring Rector Anderson of Gainesboro, TN; 1 Son: Jeff (Jerri Ann) Anderson of Gainesboro, TN; 3 Daughters: Tracy Dawn Anderson and partner, Holly Ann Buechler, of Yakima, WA, Roxanne (Tom) Geesling of Hilham, TN, and Elaine (Stephen) South of Cookeville, TN; 11 Grandchildren; and 1 Sister: Pat (Frazier) Medlin of Cookeville, TN.
