HAMPTON - Paul Harrington Oxford, 62, a Virginia resident for 28 years, died Tuesday, May 25.

Mr. Oxford, a native of Granite Falls, N.C., was co-owner of Riverside Paper Supply Co. for 10 years, He was a Korean War Air Force veteran and a member of Elks Lodge 366.

He was a member of Newport News Moose Lodge 1119, Fraternal Order of Police and a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 3219 in Phoebus.

Survived by his wife, Martha Lynne Oxford; five sons, Roger P. Oxford, Barry G. Oxford and Gary L. Oxford of Caldwell County, N.C., Ronald H. Oxford of Seattle and David M. Oxford of Hampton; his mother, May K. Oxford of Granite Falls; two sisters, Brenda Triplett of Hudson, N.C., and Patricia West of Valdese, N.C.; two brothers, Allen Oxford of South Boston and Michael Oxford of Hudson; and six grandchildren.

Visitation from 7 to 8:30 tonight at Lawrence B. Wood Funeral Home. Funeral 2 p.m. Friday at the funeral home by Dr. Aubrey Rosser. Burial in Parklawn Memorial Park.
