Mr. Zumwalt had moved to Craig county in 1908. Before coming here he was a school teacher for 18 years in Missouri.
He was named Justice of the Peace in 1947 and served until recent months when failing health forced him to retire.
Survivors include his wife, Mattie, of the home; four sons, Homer of Oklahoma City; Clyde of Tulsa; Earl, Velma, Oklahoma; and Wade of Stilwell; two daughters, Mrs. Eva Anderson, Oklahoma City; and Mrs. Jennie Litrell, Vinita; two sisters, Grace Bryon and Belle West both of Richland, Missouri; two brothers, Tom of Richland also and Bert of Coalingo, Calif.; 11 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren, and 3 great-great-grandchildren.
