Alexander W. Nadal, 16, of Akron, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, November 7, 2012 surrounded by his loving family at Pinnacle Health Hospital, Harrisburg, of natural causes.

Born February 8, 1996 in Lancaster, he was the son of Eduardo Nadal, Jr. and Rebecca L. Shaffer.

Alex was a sophomore at Ephrata High School.

He was an avid Pittsburgh fan and enjoyed video games, talking to friends, and had aspirations to be a motorcycle mechanic.

He will be lovingly missed by his mother, Rebecca L. Shaffer, wife of Cameron Klufkee, of Akron, his father, Eduardo Nadal, Jr., fiancé of Irene Muniz, of Lancaster; six siblings, Tyler, Brianna, Mercedes, Jovan, Iliana, and Pedro; maternal grandparents, Dudley and Linda Shaffer, of Akron; paternal grandparents, Eduardo and Maria Nadal, of Lancaster; two aunts, Patty Weaver, of Gordonville and Roselyn Berrios, of Lancaster as well as Alex's girlfriend, Tiffany Gengerich.

Funeral Services will be held at the Millersville Mennonite Church, 437 Manor Avenue, Millersville, PA on Saturday, November 17, 2012, at 11 AM.

Relatives and Friends are respectfully invited to view at the church on Friday evening between 6 and 9 PM and also at the church on Saturday between 9 and 11 AM.

Private Interment will be in St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery, Lancaster.
