Margaret M. O'Brien passed away on Wednesday, August 11, 1999, at her home after a brief illness. Age 96 years, she was born on June 11, 1903 in Fremont Township. She married William J O'Brien on June 15, 1927. He preceded her in death, January 24, 1976. Surviving are one son and four daughters, Patricia A. Demsky, Watkinsville, GA; William J. and his wife Helen O'Brien, Saginaw, MI; Cliff and Mary Gehrls and William and Sue MacLachlan, all of Thomas Township; Robert and Barbara McDonagh of Ft. Myers, FL; 28 grandchildren, 47 great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild; one sister-in-law, Charlotte Northrup, Florida. Margaret was preceded in death by a daughter, Colleen P. Dunn and a son-in-law, Vincent J. Demsky. Mass of Christian Burial will tae palace at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, August 14, 1999 at Holy Spirit Catholic Church. Rev. David Parsch will officiate. Interment will follow in Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Friends may call at the Deisler Funeral Home, 2233 Hemmeter Rd. (off State) on Friday fro 12:00 noon until 9:00 p.m. Margaret will lie in state at the church on Saturday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the Funeral Mass.
