Geraldine Logan
Geraldine Lucas Logan, 71, of Yuma, Ariz., died Tuesday of natural causes at a summer cabin at Placid Lake.
Mrs. Logan was born Dec. 26, 1908, at Hanford, Calif. She attended schools and graduated from high school at Cullinga, Calif. She later attended Four C's College at Fresno, Calif.
On May 12, 1929, she married Ralph H. Logan in Visalia, Calif. She had worked as a secretary for the Auto Club of Southern California, for the Visalia Chamber of Commerce, and had worked for about eight years in the Tulare County Auditor's office until retirement in 1962. Following retirement, the Logans traveled around the country, and moved to Yuma, Ariz. eight years ago.
She was very active in the First Christian Church in Yuma and had more than 2,000 hours of volunteer work with the Yuma Hospital Auxiliary. She was also a member of the Neighbors of Woodcraft and the Traveling Retirees Club.
The Logans had been visiting with friends in the Missoula and Placid Lake area when she was stricken.
A funeral service and burial will be held later next week in Visalia, Calif. Squire Simmons & Carr Rose Chapel is in charge of local arrangements.
