I called the cemetery in 2012 and was told there was a record of a George Ellis buried there but no other information. Many of his children were living in Montpelier (about 8 miles from Paris) at the time of his death. I can find no other record of a George Ellis in any other cemeteries. Family stories have the identity as George Ellis b. 1 Jan 1831 in Thurlby, Lincolnshire England. Immigrated to South Africa and married Jemima Wiggill. While there was converted to the mormon faith and immigrated to the United States and died in 1883 in Cache Valley UT. NO HEADSTONE.
