TROY - Rogers Adams, 80, of Troy, died at 10:05 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 21, 2007, at the Lincoln County Medical Center in Troy.

Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 26, at the Ingersoll Chapel for Funeral & Cremation Services in Troy. Interment will be at Troy City Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 25, at the Ingersoll Chapel.

The son of Thomas Faulk and Mabel Clara (Wiggs) Adams, Thomas Rogers Adams was born Aug. 22, 1926, in Troy. In 1950 he married Delores Wegener. She died in 1971. In 1972 he married Marjorie (Gililland) Brune, who survives.

Also surviving are three daughters, Patty Barchesky of Hawk Point, Laura Neice of Centreville, Mich., and Martha Dabbs of Manchester; three sons, Dr. David Brune of South Carolina, Richard Brune and Dean Adams, both of O'Fallon; seven grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, and one sister, Mary Lou Short of Litchfield, Ill. He was also preceded in death by one sister, Dorothy Trail. Mr. Adams was a veteran of the U. S. Army Air Corps during World War II.
