Mrs. Amelia Arnold, (Emelie Schenk), 79, a resident of Iron Mountain for 50 years previous to last June, died at 8 a.m. yesterday morning at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Harry Broad. Complications from which she had been suffering for the last 2 weeks were given as the cause of death. She move to this country 55 years ago, locating in Green Bay, Wisconsin where she lived for 5 years & then came to Iron Mountain. Beside her daughter, 2 sons by a former marriage, Herman & Orso Schenk, survive.
