Clarence A. Beoddy, 83, of Sargents Community, Piketon Rt. 1, died at 12:35 p.m. Thursday at Ross County Medical Center, shortly after admission.
A native of Pike County, he was a retired Mead Corp. employee and a member of Piketon United Methodist Church.
Preceded in death by his wife, Ruth Welty Beoddy, in 1971, he is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Susanna Davis of Chillicothe; three brothers, Otto of Washington C.H., Oscar of Chillicothe and William J. of Piketon; a sister, Mrs. Edward Compton of Chillicothe, a grandson and two great grandchildren.
Rev. Phillip Malone is to officiate at services at 2 p.m. Sunday at Howe Funeral Home here. Burial is to be in Mound Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home after 7 tonight and until the funeral hour Sunday.
