Era Anderson, 94, of Hewitt, died Friday, October 28, 1989, in a Waco hospital. Graveside services will be at 2:30 p.m., Monday, in Oakwood Cemetery with the Rev. Forrest K. Whitworth officiating. Visitation will be from 7 to 9 p.m., Saturday, October 29, at Connally-Compton Downtown Funeral Home Chapel.
Miss Anderson was born in Texas, to the late Clyde J. and Etta Anderson. She was a longtime resident of the Waco area and graduated from Waco High School in 1915, and from Toby Business College in 1918. She was a former president of the Women's Insurance Guild and retired from the Goldstein-Migel Department Store in 1960.
Survivors include a sister; and several nieces and nephews.
