Bula Lois Holladay, 84, of Teague, died Thursday, October 26, 1989, in Port Arthur. Services will be at 2 p.m. at First United Methodist Church in Teague, the Rev. Milton A. Jordan Sr. and the Rev. Lester Ruth officiating. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery in Teague.

Bula was born in Arkansas to the late Allen H. and Lela Alberta "Bertie" Benbrook. She worked as a grocery store clerk for Max McSpadden Grocery Store. Bula was a longtime resident of Teague. She was a member of First United Methodist Church in Teague, and was married to Dan Holladay.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Dan, on January 26, 1977.

Survivors include a daughter, Mary Joyce Martin, of Port Neches; three grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; brother, Paul Benbrook, of Houston; sisters, Erma Helwig, of Fulshear, and Reba Benbrook, of Richmond; other relatives and many friends.
