FORMER MARYVILLE RESIDENT
DIES IN KANSAS CITY

Mrs. Artie Maye Sears, 45, Kansas City, died at 8:30 a.m. yesterday at a hospital in Kansas City, where she had been a patient for seven weeks.

Mrs. Sears was born Jan. 11, 1910, at Joplin. She later moved to Maryville and lived in and near Maryville until 1943.

She is survived by her husband, Herbert C. Sears, of the home; four sons, Willie Sears and Robert Tracy, of the home, and Everett Tracy and James Anderson, Kansas City; four daughters, Myrtle Tracy, of the home, Mrs. Ronald Britton and Mrs. Kenneth Britton, Kansas City; Mrs. John Baumli, jr., Maryville; five grandchildren; her mother, Mrs. C. H. Conklin, Muskogee, Okla.; a brother, Pird Ashford, Mound City; two sisters, Mrs. W. W. Rattler, Muskogee, Okla., and Mrs. Ralph Eckles, Graham.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday at the Price funeral home. Burial will be at Graham.
