Bonnie Jean Maxwell, age 82 years, of Midland and former Hope resident, died Friday afternoon, November 9, 2012 at her home. She was born January 3, 1930 in Midland, daughter of William and Florence (Pomranky) Lambert. Bonnie Jean enjoyed making crafts, especially dolls and stuff animals. She will be lovingly remembered as a devoted wife and mother. She is survived by her daughters, Alanna (Richard) Switzer of Midland, Kathy (Paul) Veras of Hope; three grandchildren, eight great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband George W. Maxwell on July 19, 2003, and her brother and sister-in-law, Leo and Carol Lambert. Funeral services for Bonnie Jean will take place at 3:00 p.m., Tuesday, November 13, 2012 at the Ware-Smith-Woolever Funeral Home, 1200 West Wheeler Street, with burial in New Hope Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday from 12:00 noon until time of services.
