Harold L. Davis, 73, Crawfordsville, formerly of Ladoga, died Monday evening at St. Clare Medical Center, Crawfordsville.
Born Jan. 11, 1931 at Winchester, Ind., he was the son of Rutherford M. and Mildred (Day) Davis.
He retired from Allison's, Indianapolis, in 1981 after 30 years as a skilled machinist. He worked for Stull's Machine Shop, Ladoga, for the last 10 years.
He was a member of Trinity Methodist Church, Crawfordsville.
On Aug. 13, 1949 at North Salem, he married Maxine Carrell, and she survives.
Also surviving are his mother, Mildred Runion, Crawfordsville; two sons, Bob Davis, Kentucky, and Lloyd Davis, Texas; two daughters, Debbie Byrer and Terri Remley, both of Crawfordsville; two brothers, James H. Davis, New Market, and Ruford Davis Jr., Waveland; two sisters, Betty Edmiston, Arkansas, and Patricia Thomas, Matthews, Ind.; 12 grandchildren; eight stepgrandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father; a daughter, Alice Louise Rutledge; a sister and a brother.
Services will be conducted at 1:30 p.m. Friday at Servies and Morgan Funeral Home, Ladoga. Rev. Phillip Collier will officiate.
Burial will be in Ladoga Cemetery.
