Mrs. Mary F. Gasser, 67, resident of the Ottoville community, died at 3:34 Saturday afternoon in St. Rita's Hospital, Lima, following an illness of 10 months.

She was born at Ottoville on December 26, 1898, a daughter of Henry and Mary Ricker. She was married to William Gasser on April 25, 1917.

She is survived by her husband; 11 daughters, Mrs. William (Anna) Knippen, Ottoville; Mrs. Melitus (Dorothy) Osting, Mrs. Joseph (Agnes) Knippen, and Mrs. Theodore (Lavera) Hanf, Delphos; Mrs. Leonard (Regina) Boehmer, Mrs. Leonard (Leona) Bruskotter and Mrs. Ralph (Ledonna) Ostendorf, Ft. Jennings; Mrs. Paul (Rita) Miller, Warsaw IN.; Mrs. Eugene (Alvera) Kleman, Dayton; Mrs. Mel (Mary Ann) Fortman, Harold (Delores) Rieman, Kalida; three sons, Arthur, of Ft. Jennings; Robert, of Ottoville, and William, of Kalida; a brother, Herman Ricker, St. Mary's; three sisters, Mrs. Jacob Burgei, Ottoville; Mrs. Theresa Kemper, Ottoville, and Mrs. Elizabeth Pohlemar, Bellevue; 67 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Gasser was a member of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church at Ottoville, the Alter-Rosary Society, the Catholic Ladies of Columbia, and the VFW.

Services were held in the Ottoville church at 9:30 Tuesday morning. Msgr. J. F. Frommherz officiated. Burial was made in the parish cemetery.
