Daughter of George M Kiser and Sarah Fronebarger
Wife of William Robert "Willie" Wilson

Mother of:
• Ollie Mae Wilson McDaniel
• Robert Alton Wilson
• Jesse Wilson 1890 –
• Stella Wilson Roberts
• Fred Wilson 1891 – 1891
George Inman Wilson

Dies at Wildersville:
Mary Catherine Kizer, daughter of George and Sallie L. Fronabarger Kizer, was born September 13, 1862, in Dallas County, North Carolina. She died September 1, 1940, at 1:15 a.m., being 77 years, 11 months and 18 days of age.

On July 12, 1883, she was happily married to W.R. Wilson, and to this union six children were born, two of whom died when children. George Inman died at the age of six weeks. The four surviving children are Mrs. Ollie McDaniel, of Wildersville; Jesse Wilson, of Lexington; Alton Wilson of Wildersville and Mrs. Stella Roberts of Cleburne, Texas. She also leaves her husband, 15 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren and one sister, Mrs. B.A. Cunningham, who is 84 years of age and the only living member of the family.

About 55 years ago, Mrs. Wilson obeyed the gospel and united with the Church of Christ under the teaching of Bro. John W. Johnson of Alberton. She was a charter member of the Lexington Church of Christ and later a charter member of the Wildersville Church of Christ. She was a student of God's word, having read the Bible through many times, and attended church as long as she was able. She was a friend to all in every community in which she lived and all in the communities were her friends. This true friendship was manifest by the great number of friends visiting her during her long illness.

Mr. Wilson described her many times as "just as good a wife as any man ever had." He said in the language of Solomon: "Her husband also, and he praiseth her. Many daughters have done virtuously, but thou excellest them all." In deed and in truth, her children rise up and call her blessed.

Through she had passed on to the Great Beyond, yet sister Wilson still speaks and will continue to speak lessons of truth and kindness for many years to come. Largely attended funeral services were conducted Sunday, September 1, by Elder B.L. Douthitt of Nashville in the Wildersville Church of Christ after which burial occurred in the Wildersville cemetery. Pallbearers were her grandson Willie Lee Wilson, Chester Wilson, John McDaniel, Ray McDaniel, J.W. Roberts, and R.L. Roberts, Jr.
