Leroy K. Crockett, age 71 died Tuesday, April 9, 2002 in Bountiful, Utah.

Dad worked on all the Aerospace Programs from Titan to Space Shuttle. He was a Metallurgic Engineer and was prominent in his field, having developed many materials and processes necessary to the success of the Space Program. In particular he developed the testing, bonding and material selection of the Space Shuttle tiles. Following his retirement in 1988, Lee and Renee moved from Cypress, California to Centerville, Utah. Lee was on a Presidential Commission regarding the future of the Aerospace industry.
