Thomas F Baugh was born in 1832 in Commerce, Jackson County, Georgia. He is the son of Jonathan Jefferson Baugh Sr 1780-1864 and Mary "Polly" Walraven 1788-1855. His siblings are John Columbus "Lum" Baugh 1808-1875, David Baugh 1811-1875, Jonathan Jefferson Baugh Jr 1813-1898, William Mosley Baugh 1820-, James "Jim" Baugh 1824-1897, Reuben T Baugh 1825-1863, Vianna Anna Baugh 1830-1905, Nancy Baugh 1830-1870, Elizabeth Baugh 1834-. He married Nancy Emmaline Groover 1841-1919 on January 15, 1857, in Sugar Valley, Gordon County, Georgia. They had two children, Mary Josephine Baugh 1858-1917 and Cicero Pickens Baugh 1861-1946. He died as a young father on May 26, 1863, in Canton, Madiosn County, Mississippi, at the age of 31, and was buried there in the Canton City Cemetery.
