Mrs. Kaiser was left a widow since April 2, 1904, and from that time, it was her pleasure to live among her children, as she knew her sons, daughters and grandchildren were always cheerful to have Grandma with them. She had been in failing health since last winter but able to be around most of the time until a little over a week before her death. She had no fear of death and repeatedly said "God's will be done" and "The Lord is my Shepherd, I shall not want".
In her youth she was confirmed into the Evangelical Lutheran Church. After moving to Williams Co. she, with her husband united with the German M.E. Church northwest of Edon. As a member she was consistent and true.
Funeral services were held at the Methodist Church in Edon on Sunday morning, Sept. 5; her pastor, Rev. Nagler, speaking in German and Rev. Michael Yeagle in English. A large congregation of friends were present.
Two sons, five daughters, two brothers, one sister, thirty grandchildren and one great grandchild, besides many other relatives and friends remain to mourn her departure.
