Ithamar C. Sloan Died From a Stroke of Apoplexy.
Janesville, Wis, Dec. 24 - Ithamar C. Sloan, a distinguished lawyer, ex-Congressman. ex-Attorney General of Wisconsin and dean of the law school of the University of Wisconsin, was found dead in his bed to-day from a stroke of apoplexy, aged 76. Mr. Sloan was a member of the Committee on Military Affairs in Congress during the administration of President Lincoln. [Ithamar was the son of Andrew Scott Sloan and Mehitable Conkley Sloan and husband of Celestia Sears Sloan]
