Deceased Name: FAIRBURY - Marvin Lewis Reany

FAIRBURY - Marvin Lewis Reany, 81, a lifetime Chenoa and Fairbury resident, died at 9:35 p.m. Monday (July 8, 1991) at Brokaw Hospital, Normal.

His funeral will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Duffy-Pils Memorial Home, Fairbury, the Rev. Alan Good officiating.

Burial will be in Graceland Cemetery, Fairbury.

Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.

He was born June 23, 1910, in Fairbury, the son of Harry and Katherine Claudon Reany. He married Hannah Schlipf Dec. 12, 1942, in Fairbury. She survives.

Also surviving are two sisters, Lillian Steidinger, Fairbury, and Evelyn Carson, Fort Worth, Texas.
He was a member of First Presbyterian Church, Fairbury, and a 50-year member of Tarbolton Masonic Lodge No. 351, AF & AM.

Mr. Reany was a truck driver for Hicks Gas Co. and was plant manager for the Fairbury sewage system for 20 years, retiring in 1980.

Memorials may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
