Found in The State: 04 December 1990: Mrs. Aulene Christian Dodgen Eakin, 79, of 105 Colson St., died Sunday. Born in McCormick, she was a daughter of the late Samuel Carl and Bertha Price Christian. She retired from Eastwell Sportswear and was a member of Tranquil United Methodist Church. She was first married to the late James Otis Dodgen and then to the late William E. Eakin. Surviving are sons, James and John Dodgen, both of Greenwood; daughters, Mrs. J. N. (Betty) Dobbins and Mrs. J. G. (Bertha) DeVore Jr., both of Greenwood; and a brother, Clarence Christian of Elberton, Ga. Services will be held at 3 p.m. today at Harley Funeral Home, with burial in Edgewood Cemetery.
