Barbara Louise (Krausnick) Galla Resident of Lafayette Passed away peacefully July 18, 2012 surrounded by family and friends. Born in L.A, Barbara has lived in Lafayette most of her life and was in the 8th graduating class at Acalanes H.S. She was married 35 years to George Galla who preceded her nearly 20 years ago. They had 2 children, Kimberly and Matthew, but were also foster parents to several children in the neighborhood. She was actively involved in local theatre, mostly designing costumes for Town Hall.
Barbara is survived by her daughter and son, her sister Charlotte, and 3 grandchildren; Caitlin, Elliot and Joshua. You may be gone in person but you will never be far from our hearts. Memorial services will be 8/15/2012 at 5:00 pm; Mt. Diablo Unitarian Universalist Church, Walnut Creek.
