My 5th great-grandfather. Great-grandson of Godfrey I and Mary Ragsdale.

Married Phebe (maiden name unknown), about 1749 probably in Prince George Co., VA. Known children:
Frederick (m1 Marian ?, m2 Sarah Chase)
John (probably d bef 1793 because he was not a part of the breaking up of his father's land 16 Oct 1793, Pittsylvania Co., VA). I found no information on him other than Mrs. Van Leer's writings. There was a John Ragsdale who witnessed the purchase Deed of Daniel Ragsdale, 16 Oct 1784, Pittsylvania Deeds 1791-1794, p 461.
