Born at Eagle Creek to the Reverend William Samuel Kidder and Mary Ann McFarlin Kidder. Married William Joshua Hammans 23 April 1899 and moved with him to Harrison Gulch vicinity where he had a job in the mining industry. Returned to Igo area and then to Redding. She also lived in Project City near the auto court her husband built.
